Fab India & Faces Haul

Hi Girls,

Its Sunday! And i'm back with a haul post once again.Hope you guys had a lazy and fun day.
A couple of weeks back i had to meet a friend at the mall for some coffee and catching up! She got stuck in traffic and i couldn't resist roaming around and picking up some stuff!!!

So during my little time alone i went in a couple of stores but nothing really excited me to shop! Then i walked into Fab India and i just couldn't resist picking up these lovely soap bars! I did like a couple of their face packs,etc. but i have a huge stock off stuff to finish up so i just bought the soaps.

Honestly, i have a stock of soaps as well but i just couldn't resist picking these cuties from Fab India ( I have two more soap hauls coming up...)  

After that i walked into Faces Cosmetics! They had some lovely offers going on... I wish i could remember them for you. (Sorry!)

I picked up three lipsticks from the Go Chic Range! After that i just controlled my shopping urges and waited till my friend arrived!

So listing out all that i picked up!

Maybelline ColorShow Denim Dash : Review & NOTD

Its friday and i’m back with another nail paint review. It’s a shade from the Maybelline Color Show Range! As i ahd said earlier that everyone has loved this range and I love it too… Today I will review a beautiful shade Denim Dash. I have picked up a couple of more shades and one from the glitter mania range as well, will review them soon. Hope you enjoy this post!

My Take on the product:
I love the packaging : simple and compact. The shade is a lovely matte blue with some micro blue shimmers in it. Its again a unique colour and looks exactly like the shade of denim so well it has an apt name!

The formula and consistency is really good. It applies almost opaque in one coat but two coats give you the proper color to your nails. Its dries into a matte finish pretty fast and im really loving the way the shimmer adds more definition to this shade.

Its lasts for 4 days without any chipping if you dont use a top coat. With a top coat it will definitely last longer but then it doesnt look matte. So i avoid the top coat!

i'm simply in love with this shade. If you are looking for a vibrant blue nail paint... Definitely give this a try... amazing quality by maybelline!

NYX Haul!!!!

 Hello People!

Like I mentioned in my last post that Fridays would be dedicated to Nail Paints Reviews and nail care,etc. In a similar way Sundays are going to be dedicated to haul posts and any other random ramblings that i have to share with you lovely people!

Today im sharing a mini haul that i did from NYX via a friend who ahd gone to the States... I have always read such lovely reviews of their products online especially the lip products and i just couldn't wait to get my hands on them. Finding NYX is India is easy... Its available online and in stores like Beauty Centre in Mumbai. Only problem is that the shade that you might be wanting isn't available and they don't seem to restock the items soon. Also, the products are slightly pricey... not that they will burn a whole in your pocket but im sure you understand the feeling... In USA its available for $6 and its priced in India at Rs.750... u get the picture right!

Well i was ready to pay the price but whatever i wanted was not available and i was so sad. My childhood friend was in US for a while and it never struck me that i could ask her to get me some stuff! So like right at the end of her trip i texted her if she could get me some stuff from NYX. Well she had no clue about makeup but i sent her my list and she managed to get 4 items out of the 6 i asked her for! So sweet na...

The four products that i got from NYX are:

Im so in love with these lip products from NYX. These have such rich pigmentation and long lasting. They are pretty moisturising as well!

Avon Inky Blue Matte Nail Polish : Review & NOTD

Hope you have been good... I've missed blogging a lot. So I'm back today with a review of a  matte nail polish from Avon in the shade Inky Blue. The post is going to be short. I don't want to bore you with unnecessary details. Read on!

My views:

So today in reviewing this unique shade which is a rich ink blue with slight shimmer to it. You can clearly notice in it bottle but it doesn't show up on the nails. I don't really mind that. If you see the pics clearly it looks more purple-ish in the bottle but on the nails it looks like a deep ink blue shade. 

The polish applies slightly streaky if not applied properly. I had a tough time the first time around! The best part about this nail paint is the fact that it dries and settles into a matte finish in a couple of seconds... I'm pretty impressed with that.

One swipe is all you need to get an opaque coat of the shade on your nails. It stayed on my nails for 3 days the first time without chipping and 4 days the second time. That's not so bad given the price tag.

Pros:

1. Unique Ink Blue Shade
2. Dries into a matte finish in a couple of seconds
3. Opaque color  in just one swipe 
4. Stays on for 3 - 4 days without any chipping

Cons:

1. Its a little streaky. I had a lot of issues when i was applying it for the first time.

Overall Verdict: Its a pretty unique shade which settles into a matte finish in a couple of seconds. Lasts for 3- 4 days without any chipping with an even amazing price tag. I think you should definitely try out this range.

I know lately i have been posting a lot of nail paint reviews... so i have finally decided that i will post nail paint reviews on Fridays... will come up with some name for that as well! Hope you liked this review... Do leave your comments below!
