Restaurant Review - Bungalow 9

I am a big foodie!! I love to try out new restaurants and cuisines and now i am going to share my love for food with you. I am starting out with reviewing a lovely restaurant which is a must try place if you are living in Mumbai. In short if you are looking for a place that has a relaxing ambience and serves great food... then Bungalow 9 is the place to be. My Experience:

Well, i was looking for a nice restaurant to spend a quite afternoon in the company of my friends and good food. While browsing through restaurants on AskMe.com i came across Bungalow 9. I had heard good reviews of this restaurants, i had also seen a couple of my friends check-in at this restaurants (checking out check-ins turned out to be awesome *hehe*)

So, i finalized the restaurant and made my way to Bandra from town. I was awestruck by the beauty of the restaurant. It is a beautiful restaurant was an amazing decor. It is perfect for quiet/ romantic meal. I totally loved the interiors - simple and elegant with slightly mismatched chairs to add some definition to the place. i sat indoors but they also have outdoor seating.

Enough, with the ambience, time to get down to business - The FOOD. Bungalow 9 has a very limited menu but good variety. Since, i wasn't that hungry i skipped the soul and salad, jumped straight to the appetizers. I decided to try the B9 special - Tuscan Chicken. The dish looked so gorgeous i didn't feel like eating it. It was the yummiest appetizer i have ever had. Kudos to the cook for coming up with such a great dish and 5 stars for the awesome presentation.

B9 also offers some really good dim sums, sushi and tacos. Next we ordered a Penne Pasta in White Sauce with chicken. While we waited for our meal to arrive we sipped on our drinks to cool off. I ordered a Blackcurrant Iced Tea (boring choice naa) and my friend tried out Innocent Passion. The Black currant Iced Tea was so so... But Innocent Passion was amazing... It was the perfect mix of Passion Fruit and Cranberry juice with just the perfect amount of Fizz. Innocent Passion is a MUST have!!

Our pasta was delicious, well cooked and balanced with the right amount of herbs. It wasn't too bland but i wish the white sauce was a little thicker, the one we got was too runny. I would have definitely enjoyed it more had it not been so runny. Post the pasta, we still had little space in our tummys so we decided to try their Artisan Brick Oven Speciality Pizza.

Smoked Chicken, onions & Jalapeno Pizza

We ordered the Smoked Chicken, Onions and Jalapeno Pizza. It arrived smokin Hot. It was a perfect thin crust pizza with the right amount of cheese and toppings! I'm definitely recommending you to try out these pizza's if you like thin crust pizza's. Though i was stuffed, i really wanted to give the deserts a try.

Chefs Signature Single Origin Madagascar Chocolate Ice Cream

We ordered the Chefs Signature Single Origin Madagascar Chocolate Ice Cream. The most delicious chocolate ice cream i have had. I am not a big fan of ice creams and if i liked this, i'm sure you can understand how good it was. the most unique feature of this dish is that it has a little salt in. this ice cream is a good mix of sweet and salty. The only issue was that it had already started melting

This isn't really a budget friendly place but its definitely worth every penny you pay.

My Experience:

Jabong is my most favourite website as its very easy to navigate and find exactly looking what you are looking for. I have recently been on the hunt for formal/ semi - formal shirts and i found an awesome shirt from Vero Moda on Jabong.com.

The ordering experience on Jabong was super smooth. Within 2 mins of placing the order i got an email and text message confirming my order. The order was delivered within 4 days which is decent.

The shirt i ordered is a black and white color block shirt. It's a high low shirt with roll up sleeves. It looks super chic and can easily be styled for a formal/ casual outing. I somehow never came across this shirt in the Vero Moda stores. Thank you Jabong for helping me find this super cool shirt.

The only line going on in my head tonight is "Its raining, its pouring" from the song Sun & Moon by Above & Beyond cuz it rained today in Mumbai... I had planned to click a lot of pictures today but i couldn't because of the rains. So im posting a pending review... You have previously read reviews of Maybelline Glitter Mania on the blog. Today i am going to review my favourite shade from the range called Starry Nights.

My Experience:

Maybelline Color Show Glitter polishes comes in a sleek cylindrical clear bottle with a black screw on cap. The shade name is mentioned on the cap. It comes with a very good quality brush.  I'm loving the look of the Glitter Mania Nail Paints. The texture of the nail color is neither runny nor too thick. It applies very evenly and smoothly onto the nails. It dries pretty fast and you need just two coats to get an opaque finish. In case you don't want to go completely opaque, this shade look pretty good with just one coat as well. 

The shade Starry Nights is a lovely black shade with silver hexes and micro shimmer. These nail polishes give a slightly sand like texture to the nails. It's a beautiful shade and will never look OTT. It adds a glamour quotient to your look. A must have shade from this range. Perfect for western outfits and parties. Honestly, i have worn this shade on a regular working day as well... and it looks perfectly alright :)

This stays on my nails for a good 5 days without any sort of chipping. Only con of this nail polish is that removing it would be a task. This applies to all glitter polishes. 

Pros:

1. Simple and compact packaging
2. Good quality brush
3. Dries very fast
4. Gives a sand like texture to the nails
5. Beautiful black with shimmer and glitter particles
6. Stays on for 5 days without chipping
7. Adds a glamour quotient to your looks
8. Perfect for parties and western outfits

Cons:

1. Difficult to take off 

Final Views: 

Maybelline is an iconic brand and we all love it for its reasonable prices. I'm highly impressed by this range as well... If you haven't tried these out as yet please go and buy one shade... its impossible to get textured/ glitter nail polishes at this price. Recently, Maybelline launched their graffiti top coats! I'm dying to try those...
