My Blog seems to be full with reviews of Soaps.... Haha... I still have a shelf full of soaps to be used and reviewed! Handmade/ Natural Soaps have made a huge difference to my skin... and it feels good use products on my skin which are not loaded with chemicals. My Views on Aster Luxury Rose Soap:

Aster Luxury soaps come in a plastic packaging with labels in the front as well as back. The label at the back  gives you details of ingredients, manufacture date,etc. Its a very simple and fuss free packaging, but the packaging doesn't go with the brand name. I would have definitely preferred a slightly better packaging.

The soap is semi - opaque and reddish pink in color just like a rose. I'm a sucker for soaps with amazing fragrance, but unlike the sandalwood soap this doesn't have a very strong fragrance :(. Its pretty mild so its great for people who don't like their soaps to have a strong fragrance. This soap contains the goodness of coconut oil, castor oil & glycerin... all of these are doing wonders for my skin. 

Another amazing fact is that unlike other handmade soaps.. this doesn't melt too fast nor does it loose its shape. It lathers really well and cleanses the skin completely. The soap is highly moisturizing and i don't feel the need to apply a moisturizer.

Pros:

1. Free of Parabens & Phthalates
2. Not tested on animals
3. Easily available online
4. Lathers well
5. Nourishes the skin with the goodness of coconut oil, castor oil & glycerin
6. Doesn't melt too fast

Cons:

1. Wouldn't mind a better packaging
2. Would have preferred a stronger frangrance


Aster Luxury Bathing Bar - Rose is a great soap for all skin types. Loving the nourishing effect it is having on my skin. Overall, this soap is definitely a winner in my eyes.

Happy Holi!! Hope you enjoyed yourself... Unlike other blogs i won't be having a post related to Holi, because honestly i don't know how to take care of the skin post Holi as i don't celebrate this festival due to my sensitive skin*sob sob* Anyhow, all said and done a face wash is a staple product in almost everyone's life. So today i'm going to review a face wash from one of my favourite brand, which i have used on and off for quite some time.

My take on Oriflame Essentials Fairness 5 in 1 Gel Wash:

Oriflame Essentials Fairness 5 in 1 Gel Wash comes in a sleek white and pink tube with a screw on lid. Its a hygienic and travel friendly packaging. As the name suggests its a gel based face wash, but its slightly runny in comparison to other gel face washes. It has a pleasant smell which isn't overpowering. The fragrance lingers for a bit and then fades away. It a soap free cleanser and it foams and lathers really well and i always love that in my face washes.

Even though the name suggests its a fairness face wash, the brand doesn't mention that in its product description. Instead, the brand claims that this face wash cleanses, purifies, mattifies, brightens and comforts the skin all at once! It definitely cleanses the skin really well without leaving any sort of residue. Since im blessed with combination skin tone i always prefer face washes which mattify my skin and this face wash by Oriflame does the job pretty well. With regular usage i could definitely see the brightness on my face.

The only con is that you need to purchase the products through an Oriflame consultant. I don't face this issue as i'm an oriflame consultant myself... Hehe... Anyhow, i really like this face wash, and i use it regularly. Its a pretty good face wash for those with combination to oily skin.

Drugstore Haul from the US

Hi Girls,

I'm back with a haul post after a really long time... It's not like i haven't been shopping... Just haven't had the time to post hauls. I really love experimenting with products! My Experience with Pursense Spearmint Soap:

The soap is white in colour with tiny specs of spearmint. OMG i'm just in love with the fragrance of this soap.  I'm a huge fan mint, i love it in my chocolate, my bath products and even in my lipsticks... I love the Revlon balms because of the minty fragrance. The spearmint soap keeps my body cool and refreshed. The soap maintains its shape and lasts for a really long time. It lathers really well and keeps the skin moisturised. I like the packaging of these soaps, its pretty simple but very different from the usual soap packaging.
