Hello Everyone,

My Experience with the Pure Suds Frangipani Soap:

The Frangipani Soap is a gorgeous looking soap made with a blend of 6 different oils. The soap has a really great fragrance which isn't overpowering and has a gorgeous blend of soothing colors. The oils used in this soap are Avocado Oil, Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil and Canola Oil. With a mix of these oils and cocoa Butter this soap will be a boon for people with Dry Skin. This soap is so moisturizing that after using this i don't feel the need to use a lotion or moisturizer. My skin feels soft and smooth after using this soap and i haven't felt that with other soaps.

I really love using handmade soaps as the soap maker puts in efforts for designing each batch of soaps... I love the soaps from Pure Suds and keep stocking them up regularly. This soap is currently not available as all these soaps are made in small batches. To check out the latest soaps available head on to their Facebook Page HERE.

My Blog seems to be full with reviews of Soaps.... Haha... I still have a shelf full of soaps to be used and reviewed! Today i'm back with a review of a lovely soap from the house of Aster. Have you read my review of the Sandalwood Soap from Aster? If not... Check it out HERE.

No Phthalates. No animal testing.

Ingredients:

Coconut Oil, Sorbitol, Castor Oil, Myristic Acid, Stearic Acid, Cocoamido Propyl Betaine, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Rose Fragrance Oil

Price & Quantity:

Rs.150 for 125 gms

Shelf Life:

24 months from date of packaging.

My Views on Aster Luxury Rose Soap:

Aster Luxury soaps come in a plastic packaging with labels in the front as well as back. The label at the back  gives you details of ingredients, manufacture date, etc. Its a very simple and fuss free packaging, but the packaging doesn't go with the brand name. I would have definitely preferred a slightly better packaging.

The soap is semi - opaque and reddish pink in color just like a rose. I'm a sucker for soaps with amazing fragrance, but unlike the sandalwood soap this doesn't have a very strong fragrance :(. Its pretty mild so its great for people who don't like their soaps to have a strong fragrance. This soap contains the goodness of coconut oil, castor oil & glycerin... all of these are doing wonders for my skin.

Another amazing fact is that unlike other handmade soaps.. this doesn't melt too fast nor does it loose its shape. It lathers really well and cleanses the skin completely. The soap is highly
moisturizing and i don't feel the need to apply a moisturizer.

Pros:

1. Free of Parabens & Phthalates
2. Not tested on animals
3. Easily available online
4. Lathers well
5. Nourishes the skin with the goodness of coconut oil, castor oil & glycerin
6. Doesn't melt too fast

Cons:

1. Wouldn't mind a better packaging

2. Would have preferred a stronger frangrance

Aster Luxury Bathing Bar - Rose is a great soap for all skin types. Loving the nourishing effect it is having on my skin. Overall, this soap is definitely a winner in my eyes.

Don't forget to check out www.asterluxurysoaps.com

Honestly, I have enjoyed using both the soaps from Aster. Have you tried their soaps?? If yes, which one.

Bouquet of Roses by Camelia's Natural & Handmade Bath & Body Treats Review

Hi guys,

How have you all been... i was supposed to do a few posts this weekend but things took a really wrong turn in my personal life and i just couldn't do anything! I was pretty upset about how things were growing, but i'm a strong girl who is not going to sit about crying because of stupid people. So i'm back to blogging...

Today i'm reviewing a soap which i should have reviewed really long back. Its tried and tested long back!  I'm reviewing the Bouquet of Roses soap made by Camelia of  Camelia's Natural & Handmade Bath & Body Treats. I was a happy customer who shopped again! You can check out my haul from her store HERE.

Ingredients:

Milk, Rosewater, Vit E, Bentonite Clay, Coconut Oil, Sandalwood powder & Fragrance Oil Blend

My Experience:

I love using handmade soaps and was super excited to try out this soap when i came across the Facebook page of Camelia's Natural & Handmade Bath & Body Treats. Since it was a new brand and my skin is sensitive i chose to try out just one soap in my first order. I love the fragrance of roses and so i picked this one up. But with the stock load of soaps i already had i used this almost a month after the order reached me.

The soap was smaller than what i expected but i cut into 4 pieces like i usually do with any handmade soap. The reason i cut any handmade is that since they do not contain chemicals they tend to melt faster than the usual soaps. Cutting them into smaller pieces just increases their longevity. It lasted me almost 3 weeks :)

The fragrance had died down a bit since i kept it away for a month, but it still had the lingering smell of roses. This soap is filled with the goodness of so many amazing natural ingredients. It was a delight to use this soap. The soap kept my skin moisturized. The best part about this soap was that it lathered up so well.

All in all i was happy with my purchase and the next time round i ordered 4 soaps :P

Do check them out on FACEBOOK if you would like to try out some of their handmade soaps!

Gayatri was kind enough to send me an Angel Skin soap, a pair of earrings and a Scrub Loofah as complimentary gifts(YAY!!! Who doesn't like freebies)

They hosted another set of great offers during Rakhi. This time round i ordered a cupcake soap and the dark angel facial cleanser which i was really looking forward to trying. They keep hosting offers on their Facebook page.

Mini Haul From Gia Bath & Body Works

Hello everyone,

Hope you had the great weekend... i was just lazing around! I have been meaning to do this post since a while. This is a much delayed post... I did a mini haul from Gia Bath & Body Works a while back and somehow in the moving from hostel to back home they were kept away. I found these beauties a while back and i have just been using them no other products :-D

What i had ordered was two soaps, a shower gel and a sample basket. I love the concept of a sample basket... it lets you try a variety of products so that you can take a pick of what you actually like and then you can order the full sized product.

We make exquisite Handcrafted bathing bars and skin care products In small batches while carefully choosing our ingredients and creating attractive body treats with unique designs and textures.

None of our products contain harmful chemicals or fillers to bulk out products, They do not contain any SLS, SLES, preservatives or hardeners. just the raw Natural & Pure ingredients. They are suitable for most skin types.

The Products That I Ordered Are:
  1. Charcoal & Creme Soap
  2. Fullers Earth Silk Soap
  3. Rose Absolute Shower Gel
  4. Sample Basket

The Sample Basket Consisted Of The Following:
  1. Chocolate Creme Silk Soap
  2. Neem & French Clay Soap
  3. Lavender Creme Silk Soap
  4.  Christmas Delight Soap
  5. Fullers Earth Silk Soap
  6. Charcoal & Creme Soap
  7. Oatmeal Cream Honey Soap
  8. Mocha Creme Body Polish Bar
  9. Peone Body Mist
  10. Chocolate Body Butter
  11. Shea Body Butter
  12. Chocolate Body Polishing Scrub

I have already used up quite a lot of the samples so they aren't pictured. Currently i'm using the Oatmeal Cream Honey Soap. I'm honestly in love with these products and once i'm done with this lot i will be ordering more soap bars. I usually prefer shower gels but these soap bars are so moisturizing.

If you want me to review any specific product first do let me know in the comments below :)
