Oriflame Essentials Fairness 5 in 1 Gel Wash

Hi Everyone,

Happy Holi!! Hope you enjoyed yourself... Unlike other blogs i won't be having a post related to Holi, because honestly i don't know how to take care of the skin post Holi as i don't celebrate this festival due to my sensitive skin*sob sob* Anyhow, all said and done a face wash is a staple product in almost everyone's life. So today i'm going to review a face wash from one of my favourite brand, which i have used on and off for quite some time.

About Oriflame Essentials Fairness 5 in 1 Gel Wash:

Essentials Fairness 5 in 1 Gel Wash with Mulberry extracts and Vitamin E- cleanses, purifies, mattifies, brightens and comforts the skin all at once! Oriflame’s Essentials Fairness 5 in 1 Gel Wash’s multi-action cleansing formula helps brighten and even out skin tone. It also helps remove excessive oil without over drying and is suitable for combination to oily skin type.

Price & Qty:

Rs.249 for 75 ml

Ingredients:

My take on Oriflame Essentials Fairness 5 in 1 Gel Wash:

Oriflame Essentials Fairness 5 in 1 Gel Wash comes in a sleek white and pink tube with a screw on lid. Its a hygienic and travel friendly packaging. As the name suggests its a gel based face wash, but its slightly runny in comparison to other gel face washes. It has a pleasant smell which isn't overpowering. The fragrance lingers for a bit and then fades away. It a soap free cleanser and it foams and lathers really well and i always love that in my face washes.

Even though the name suggests its a fairness face wash, the brand doesn't mention that in its product description. Instead, the brand claims that this face wash cleanses, purifies, mattifies, brightens and comforts the skin all at once! It definitely cleanses the skin really well without leaving any sort of residue. Since im blessed with combination skin tone i always prefer face washes which mattify my skin and this face wash by Oriflame does the job pretty well. With regular usage i could definitely see the brightness on my face.

The only con is that you need to purchase the products through an Oriflame consultant. I don't face this issue as i'm an oriflame consultant myself... Hehe... Anyhow, i really like this face wash, and i use it regularly. Its a pretty good face wash for those with combination to oily skin.

Oriflame Very Me Nail Graffiti Base Coat & Top Coat : Review and NOTD

Hi Girls,

When I was in college, I had this phase with nail paints... I just hoarded them... and then that moment came when I just stopped using them. Its been like 3 years that I've used nail polishes regularly. So, now I'm not a nail paint hoarder but i use nail paints on a regular basis.

That was about me! Anyway today what I'm going to talk about is the Oriflame Very Me Nail Graffiti in the shades Gold & Black. Gold is the base coat and Black is the graffiti top coat.

So, today I'm gonna do a quick review for you on these nail paints. The base coat is available in 3 shades Silver, Fuchsia & Gold. I got the gold shade cause i anyway wanted a gold polish in my stash. The top coat is again available in 3 shades Black, Blue & Pink. I got the black one as the gold and black combo looks so s*xy and its easily wearable.

As you can see a variety of colours are available which you can mix and match according to you taste. Another plus point with this product is that you can use the top coat with other nail polishes as well it gives the same crackle effect on all nail polishes *yayy!!!*

I've applied two coats of the base colour i.e. Gold. It dries pretty fast and gives a non streaky finish... I love it! The moment you apply the top coat it starts drying and starts cracking to see the amazing effect. Ideally, you should finish with a top coat for a more polished finish. I haven't applied a top coat and it lasted on me easily for 3 days without any chipping. I can't comment much about its lasting power cause i had to remove it on the third day for a function... it just didn't go with my outfit! *sad face*

Price & Quantity : Rs.199 for 8ml

Would  I Recommend? Oh yes! You need to try this if you like the crackle effects or you are into nail art or you just want to try something new.

Hope you liked this mini review. Do leave your views in the comments! I love to read them :)

Mini Haul From Oriflame India

Hi Girls,

Its been a while that i shopped for anything much. If i would have started blogging like 2 years back you would have seen a hell lot of haul posts and i can guarantee you they wouldn't be mini in any way. Anyway so i was a shopaholic and it took me a while to control my urges and impulsive buys. I try to control myself when i shop but once in a while the impulsive shopper in me emerges and i just cant control.

Anyhow, we shall discuss tips on shopping etc some other time. Right now the highlight of this post shall be the mini haul from Oriflame. Oriflame is a Sweden brand and most of you may be aware of it. It was basically a skin care brand, but now it sells make up as well. Oriflame products can be ordered only through their independent consultants.

So, I bought 5 products from Oriflame this month. Four are for me and as you can see in the pic one is a product for men. Well, that is for my dearest Aditya! (Probably i will get him to do a review of the same for the blog *grin*)

Here's the list of the products i purchased:
1. Oriflame Happy Skin Hydrating Hand Cream: Rs.199 for 100 ml
2. Oriflame Pure Colour Kajal: Rs.129 for 3 g
3. Very Me Nail Grafitti Base Coat - Gold: Rs.199 for 8 ml
4. Very Me Nail Grafitti Top Coat - Black: Rs.199 for 8 ml
5. North For Men Moisturising Fairness Lotion : Rs. 279 for 50 ml

Except for the North For Men Moisturising Lotion i got everything on a discount. Oriflame usually has amazing offers every month.

Hope you enjoyed this haul post!
Do let me know if you want me to review any of the products for you first.
