Maybelline ColorShow Glitter Mania Starry Nights : Review & NOTD

The only line going on in my head tonight is "Its raining, its pouring" from the song Sun & Moon by Above & Beyond cuz it rained today in Mumbai... I had planned to click a lot of pictures today but i couldn't because of the rains. So im posting a pending review... You have previously read reviews of Maybelline Glitter Mania on the blog. Today i am going to review my favourite shade from the range called Starry Nights.

My Experience:

Maybelline Color Show Glitter polishes comes in a sleek cylindrical clear bottle with a black screw on cap. The shade name is mentioned on the cap. It comes with a very good quality brush.  I'm loving the look of the Glitter Mania Nail Paints. The texture of the nail color is neither runny nor too thick. It applies very evenly and smoothly onto the nails. It dries pretty fast and you need just two coats to get an opaque finish. In case you don't want to go completely opaque, this shade look pretty good with just one coat as well. 

The shade Starry Nights is a lovely black shade with silver hexes and micro shimmer. These nail polishes give a slightly sand like texture to the nails. It's a beautiful shade and will never look OTT. It adds a glamour quotient to your look. A must have shade from this range. Perfect for western outfits and parties. Honestly, i have worn this shade on a regular working day as well... and it looks perfectly alright :)

This stays on my nails for a good 5 days without any sort of chipping. Only con of this nail polish is that removing it would be a task. This applies to all glitter polishes. 

Pros:

1. Simple and compact packaging
2. Good quality brush
3. Dries very fast
4. Gives a sand like texture to the nails
5. Beautiful black with shimmer and glitter particles
6. Stays on for 5 days without chipping
7. Adds a glamour quotient to your looks
8. Perfect for parties and western outfits

1. Difficult to take off

Maybelline is an iconic brand and we all love it for its reasonable prices. I'm highly impressed by this range as well... If you haven't tried these out as yet please go and buy one shade... its impossible to get textured/ glitter nail polishes at this price. Recently, Maybelline launched their graffiti top coats! I'm dying to try those...

As usual i keep going MIA for a while..I've been meaning to post this review since  a long time. A couple of months back Maybelline launched the Glitter Mania nail paints in India. I resisted picking them up for quite some time... The moment i tried these nail paints i was smitten by this range. Today i am going to review that shade All That Glitters.

The shade All That Glitters is a lovely yellow gold shade with silver hexes and micro shimmer. These nail polishes give a slightly sand like texture to the nails. It's a beautiful shade and will never look OTT. It adds a glamour quotient to your look. A must have shade from this range. This is perfect for the upcoming Shaadi Season. I can definitely see myself using this shade a lot in the upcoming months.

This stays on my nails for a good 5 days without any sort of chipping. Only con of this nail polish is that removing it would be a task. This applies to all glitter polishes. But now that issue is solved for me... I've got any amazing Nail Polish remover from Colorbar with which i can remove this glitter polish within seconds... shall review that soon

If you haven't tried these out as yet please go and buy one shade... its impossible to get textured/ glitter nail polishes at this price. Plus, All That Glitters is such a pretty shade.... Perfect for the wedding season!

Once again i have been MIA for a longtime. I think i should just stop writing this on my posts now! Lol...Anyway... I've been meaning to post this review since  a long time. A couple of months back Maybelline launched the Glitter Mania nail paints in India. I resisted picking them up for quite some time... Then i thought let's try at least one shade... there's no harm plus it doesn't even cost a bomb like other glitter polishes. So i went ahead and bought the shade Paparazzi Purple. Oh boy,after using this shade i was completely smitten by range. Slowly and steadily i have picked up almost all the shades :P

The shade Paparazzi Purple is a pretty purple shade with silver hexes and micro shimmer. These nail polishes give a slightly sand like texture to the nails. It's a slightly dark shade but i really love the way it looks on my nails. It adds a glamour quotient to your look. A must have shade from this range. This stays on my nails for a good 5 days without any sort of chipping. Only con of this nail polish is that removing it would be a task. This applies to all glitter polishes.

Pros:

I went ahead and picked up 5 more shade *grins* If you haven't tried these out as yet please go and buy one shade... its impossible to get textured/ glitter nail polishes at this price. Plus, Paparazzi Purple is such a pretty shade....

Maybelline ColorShow Denim Dash : Review & NOTD

Its friday and i’m back with another nail paint review. It’s a shade from the Maybelline Color Show Range! As i ahd said earlier that everyone has loved this range and I love it too… Today I will review a beautiful shade Denim Dash. I have picked up a couple of more shades and one from the glitter mania range as well, will review them soon. Hope you enjoy this post!

Maybelline Claims: Stay right on trend from your tips to toes with new Maybelline Color Show. Our gel based formula with color popping pigments, comes in 40 bold, super stylish shades that look great on nails. So go on, mix, match and make the most of color.

Price & Quantity:
Rs.75 for 6ml

My Take on the product:
I love the packaging : simple and compact. The shade is a lovely matte blue with some micro blue shimmers in it. Its again a unique colour and looks exactly like the shade of denim so well it has an apt name!

The formula and consistency is really good. It applies almost opaque in one coat but two coats give you the proper color to your nails. Its dries into a matte finish pretty fast and im really loving the way the shimmer adds more definition to this shade.

Its lasts for 4 days without any chipping if you dont use a top coat. With a top coat it will definitely last longer but then it doesnt look matte. So i avoid the top coat!

i'm simply in love with this shade. If you are looking for a vibrant blue nail paint... Definitely give this a try... amazing quality by maybelline!

LASplash Nail Splash - Sparkling Rose : Review & NOTD

Hi Girls,

I know i haven't been posting regularly so now i have made a decision that i need to write minimum 15 posts a month! So you will be hearing from me regularly now :)Today, im back with a review of a nail paint. I received this LA Splash nail paint in my Fab Bag. I usually don't go for glitter polishes but i quite like this one.

Anyhow, LA Splash in a US brand. I'm not too sure about the availability of this product in India.

This nail paint, is filled with round glitter and tiny glitter sparkles. It gives a lovely pinky sheen and shine to your nails. You can use this in three ways according to me : a glitter nail paint on clear nails, a glitter nail paint on painted nails and for nail art purposes. I personally like to use it to bling out my ring finger!

On application the product dries pretty fast, though you have to be careful that the sparkles get applied evenly on the nails. The product starts chipping the next day itself. But if you apply a top coat, the chipping is delayed.

It was pretty easy to remove, a little effort hard to be put in to get all the glitter off but it wasn't a difficult task! I have mixed feelings about it so i wouldn't recommend you to buy it unless you are a fan of glitter polishes.
