Maybelline Clear Glow BB Cream Review

As promised in the last post I'm going to blog regularly. Well, that didn't happen since my Internet connection was in such a bad mood. I haven't had Internet access for a week! *sob sob* So, today i will be reviewing a product which was launched two years back. I know its a new product or anything but i wanted to do a review on it so here's the post.

Maybelline was the first to launch a BB cream in the Indian market. BB Creams are supposed to be all in one creams which does the role of moisturiser, sunscreen, etc. but alas the ones launched in India are only tinted moisturisers.

I was super excited when this was launched. I rushed to the stores to get it! So how did the Maybelline BB cream fare? Was it worth the hype that was created? Read on to know my views about this BB cream from Maybelline!

My experience with Maybelline Clear Glow BB Cream:

The Maybelline Clear Glow BB cream comes in a simple and cute packaging. The tube is somewhat teal in colour and the cap is in a pinkish steel finish. The tube has a tiny nozzle tip for dispensing the product. The tube is compact and travel friendly. No chances of spillage!

I had picked up the shade Natural as it is closest to my skin tone. It gives medium coverage and does hide small blemishes,etc. 

The consistency is slight thicker than others of the same kind that are available in the market. Since, its not thin and runny, you need to put a little effort to blend it well else it can make your skin look patchy. Once, applied it gives a white cast. Give it 5 mins and voila you have radiant skin! 

It does give a slight amount of hydration and stays put for at least 5 hours after which you may have to do a touch up. It works well for me during most of the year except summers when my skin tends to become slight;y oily. Thus, i can definitely say this product won't work for people with oily skin.

1. Gives a dewy finish to the skin
2. Evens out skin tone
3. Cute packaging
4. Long lasting

Cons:

1. Won't work for oily skin
2. Requires a lot of effort to blend properly

Will I repurchase it?

No, I have repurchased this product before but i now use the Ponds White Beauty BB+ Cream. You can read the review here.

Would I recommend it? 

If you have dry/normal skin then you should try it out. If the shade matches your skin tone then this can work wonders. Gives a lovely dewy finish! You should try this out if you haven't found your perfect BB Cream. If you have oily skin don't try this instead pick up the BB Stick by Maybelline since that works wonders for oily skin.

Sorry for being MIA! I was busy preparing for the exhibition, then relaxing after the exhibition. I missed blogging all these days. So now I'm back again with a new product review for you. Its not really a new product, but i use it almost everyday.. so i just felt like reviewing it for my lovely readers :)

The market is flooded with BB and CC creams... some are a hit while others are a miss! Today I'm reviewing the Pond's White Beauty BB+ cream which is definitely a hit in my books. Read on to know more about my views on the product...

My take on the product: 

The product comes in a sleek white tube packaging with a silver screw on lid. It looks great for the price you pay! It definitely travel friendly cause its so compact it will fit in the smallest clutches. The tube has a nozzles which dispenses the perfect amount of the product that you require.

In terms of texture, this BB cream is thicker in comparison to others available in the market. You need to put a little effort in blending it. Its worth the finish it gives to your skin. It definitely brightens the face. On application it makes your skin look a shade lighter but once it settles in it gives a dewy look without altering your skin tone :) The texture is non oily but this product may not work for people with oily skin during the summers.

The Ponds BB+ cream settles into a matte finish and it is sweat proof. The Ponds BB+ cream gives a medium coverage and it easily covers minor spots/ blemishes. Though its available only in one shade it suits me(wheatish) I'm not so sure how this will work on dusky beauties.

The highlight of the product is that it has SPF 30 PA++ protection. With this product you can easily roam for 300 minutes without getting a sun burn. Just in case you don't know each SPF protects you for approximately 10 minutes.

Do I Recommend? Yes, if you are looking for a affordable BB cream which gives medium coverage.

Will I repurchase it? Yes, I’ll repurchase it.I love this product 'im already on my second tube. I use it almost everyday.
